About Us!

The New Jersey Muslim Voice for Progress (NJMVP) is a grass-roots organization that aims to integrate Muslims into the social, political and religious fabric of New Jersey. It works by building a broad New Jersey Muslim coalition that is diverse, inclusive and effective in collaborative action to preserve the civil rights and liberties for all people.
 
NJMVP’s mission is to:
  • Advocate on behalf of NJ Muslims with local and state government officials, politicians and law enforcement
  • Engage NJ Muslim individuals and organizations in the political process
  • Empower NJ Muslim women and youth to accomplish their goals to serve society
  • Partner with like-minded friends of Muslim Community
  • Promote collaboration among diverse NJ Muslims
  • Encourage and nurture a culture of volunteering and service among NJ Muslims
